Welcome to Milt's Memos Blog

This is my first blog entry at this site. Mainly I will write about news for the Multimedia Special Interest Group (MMSIG) in which I am progressing through a 7 month instructional on Adobe's Premiere Elements, followed by one month of Movie Maker. Beyond that, I will be expressing my opinion on subjects of still and video items (software, hardware, etc.) Watch out for the etc.

The blog is set up so that you can respond to my blogs with supporting, additive or contrary opinions or information. This being a blog, you cannot originate a subject as you might in a forum.  Our experience with forums on the earlier website was very poor.

I am currently in the midst of generating an article on Premiere Elements 7. This version fails to impress and soon I will tell you why in detail.  I also bought a copy of Premiere Pro CS3 just before the CS4 release. That will be on my future blog subject list.

Besides attending SVUGA's MMSIG, WINSIG and DISIG meetings, I also go to the Photoshop Users Group meeting down at Adobe's SJ headquarters, the View Finders of Cupertino, and the Movie Makers group meeting at Apples Cupertino HQs. All of these are open to the public. If there is any interest by response to this blog, I'll tell you how to attend any one.
