In January 2010 the Multimedia SIG became part of the Digital Imaging SIG.
This SIG focused on multimedia software, hardware and techniques, including sound editing, transfer of analog audio and video sources to digital format and portable media players.
The project to develop a video from the videotapes of Kevin Lynn's presentation continues. This month we will continue the import of the video files and selecting the clips to be included. We will also demonstrate some basic editing techniques.
We had 3 people videotaping the General Meeting where Kevin Lynn spoke about "Two Ways To Upgrade from Vista to Windows 7". Additional videotaping was done at the preceding WinSIG and SIRS meetings. The tapes have been captured as .avi files and now the fun begins.
We've talked about it, we've seen examples of it, now we're going to try it as a group exercise/experiment: videotaping, editing and publishing a video on DVD.
Our subject will be the General Meeting where Kevin Lynn will be Speaking about "Two Ways To Upgrade from Vista to Windows 7".
