 Microsoft launched Office 2010, Sharepoint 2010 and Visual Studio 2010 in May to business customers, and the products will be available in retail stores on June 10. Comparisons of the different versions of Office, and their recommendation of the most cost-effective versions will be discussed. Kevin Lynn and Don Heinsen will demonstrate the new features of Office 2010, with powerpoint presentation and hands-on examples of many of the features of Office 2010 Professional 2010.

They have both been using the beta version and recently upgraded to the released Office 2010 product. Comparisons of the different versions, and their recommendation of the most cost-effective version will be discussed. Their presentations will cover differences between the retail product suites, and free upgrades from recently purchased versions of Office 2007:

  • Word document editor
  • Excel spreadsheet,
  • PowerPoint slide presenter,
  • Improved menu ribbon bar
  • Office on the web
  • Outlook e-mail & Calendar,
  • One Note,
  • They will also compare the new Microsoft Office 2010 Suite with Open Office v.3.
