Microsoft has setup Windows 7 Launch parties across the nation, managed by houseparty.com and local hosts. This party is sponsored by WinSIG
Kevin will bring a couple of PCs running Windows 7 to demonstrate how to transfer files from older operating systems to a fresh install of Windows 7, as well as answer questions and demonstrate features of the new operating system.
If you'd like to attend send an email to kevin@svcs.net and he will add you to the guest list. You will then receive an invitation from houseparty.com and you can register for the party. There are presently more than 600 persons registered to attend 50 similar parties in the Bay area.
